After-hours Emergencies

Please call our regular phone line and press 1 for the Emergency option. Leave a message in the voicemail box and the doctor on call will be paged directly.

Note: Our emergency line is for current clients only. If your pet is not a patient and is experiencing an emergency situation after hours that needs to be seen immediately, please contact your regular veterinarian, who may be able to see your pet or refer you to an emergency facility. They can stabilize your pet before referring to our office. If you are unable to get through to your regular veterinarian, we have a list of nearby 24-hour emergency clinics on our Other Resources page.

Medication refills

You can send your information via email to refills@vostn•com  (refills@vostn•com)  , fill out our refill request form online, or call us and choose option 5 to leave a message in our Refills Mailbox.

If you would like your medications called in to a pharmacy, please leave the number of the pharmacy you prefer. If you would like them mailed, please provide your method of payment. Medications can also be picked up at our office during regular business hours or at our satellite locations on days we are there. Please call ahead so we can have your medications ready when you arrive.

IMPORTANT: We have changed the way we dispense compounded medications. Please read this post carefully if your pet is prescribed Amlodipine, Cidofovir, Cyclosporine, Demecarium Bromide, Dexamethasone 0.1% Ointment, Dichlorphenamide (Generic Daranide), EDTA 1% Solution, Methazolamide 12.5mg capsules, or Tacrolimus.

Chattanooga and Goodlettsville Locations

All appointments are scheduled through our office in Nashville, Tennessee. We are not available to answer the phones at our satellite locations. Please do not try to reach us by calling R.I.V.E.R. or the Rivergate Pet Emergency Clinic. Instead, call our main number to speak with our Nashville office personnel, and they can relay any necessary messages.
